14th April 2018 – Manchester Arena
I took Jay to see the Fast and Furious Live Show in Manchester for his late birthday present.
I’ve been so excited for this since booking it at the beginning of the year.
The show was amazing!
The stunts were all spot on and the atmosphere was surreal. It was a full action packed afternoon. From gun shots to crashes and explosions.
The audience were involved in lots of different activities through the show.
It was great to see parts from every film throughout, my only bother that they weren’t in order!
My most favourite thing about it is the drifting. If you were wondering if we were choking on the burnt rubber fumes – it really wasn’t that bad!
Fast Five is my favourite film out of the lot. I absolutely love Danza Kuduro, and the moment at the end of this scene live was amazing! The song started playing and I was dancing and there’s an explosion of $ dollar bills flying down on us!
It was such a fab afternoon, we both had such a good time.
BEST. DATE. EVER!
Brownie points to me of course.. ❤️
So I planned a hen do for my friend before she gets married soon! I’ve got to say event planning is so stressful yet I completely LOVE it!
We went out for a meal, so everyone could get to know each other without feeling under pressure and brought out the games etc later on when the pub was dying down a bit.
I set the table up with a ‘Bride to Be’ sign (amazon), which came with a sash and bought a personalised balloon with the date on from a local shop.
I created another personal touch that Imogen could keep. I used an empty prosecco bottle. Yes, I drank the whole thing first.
I stuck some gold text on it which I bought from Hobby Craft. And I wrote underneath the date. I added in some lights for an even better touch and everyone signed the bottle after.
I made some personalised cupcakes, another perfect gesture. These were given out to all the people who came.
Hen do selfie sticks (amazon) are also such a perfect idea to get everyone to mingle with each other.
We had plenty of games, which we all enjoyed! Had such a laugh and a great night!

I decided to plan my work colleague a surprise birthday meal for her 50th birthday.
I spent the past 5 weeks planning and organising the night. This included planning a cake and running round getting decorations.
Keeping it a secret was such a hard task, especially when she was moaning about wanting cake on her actual birthday!
I provided a decoy on her birthday with these cupcakes, she didn’t moan!
I booked a table of 11 at a restaurant close to us, The Boatyard. Its a fairly new restaurant, but exceeded expectations.
Lovely homemade food!
Everyone was so excited to see the cake I had made. When they brought it out her face was a picture!
We all had a lovely night! And I’m so glad it went to plan!!
Hope you enjoyed the read! Thanks for reading!
