Manchester Ice Village

Over the Christmas period I bought tickets for the Manchester Ice Village.

It’s a little village where you can prebook for ice-skating and the ice village. They have some small stalls for Bratwurst and boozy hot chocolates, like a traditional Christmas Market.

The ice cavern which we had booked for, £9pp, was a tent with a temperature of -10! You really need that boozy hot chocolate when you come back out!

You can take your time walking through looking at all of the sculptures people had made. There were 12 different nods to Manchester within ice carvings for you to find throughout.

It’s one of the cutest places I’ve been to and would 100% recommend it to families and couples.

Is it Christmas yet?

Hi guys, hope you’ve all had the best weekend!

I’m having an extra long weekend this week so I’ve spent it chilling out as I’ve been so stressed lately! I feel like a totally different person at the moment and feel like I need a massive break away!

On Friday all I did was watch Christmas films all day and tried to eat clean! It’s weird but I’m ill at the moment as well and I’ve just had absolutely no energy!

Yesterday I went to the Manchester Christmas markets with my mum and Sister. Just love when there on with all the festive lights. Hopefully next year I’ll manage to get myself over to Germany for the real German Christmas markets.

Banana and Nutella pancakes are the best. Nutella is heaven!

Of course I had an amaretto hot chocolate too!

I apologise for the lack of photos I’ve taken this weekend.

Today I have chilled again and then went Christmas food shopping. The best part is buying all the rubbish to pig out on during Christmas time!

I’ve also been getting all my baking stuff together for all my Christmas Cupcakes and a 70th Birthday cake which I’m making tomorrow.

Going to have a very busy week but it will be worth it! I will show you all the results once I’m finished.

Thanks for reading!
Take care 🙂
